CBR1100XX Centerstand installation
For some reason my Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird was missing the centerstand.
Here’s how you install it on your bike, with parts & required tools listed.
Tools
You must have a 14mm ratcheting spanner!
The stock pipes are quite large, and are in the way of the bolt. I could not find any way to fit a normal ratchet, so I bought a 14mm ratcheting spanner. Something like this: MTX Tools räikkälenkki 14mm.
Part numbers
- 2x stand bolt: 90105KBG000 (BOLT,FLANGE,10X40).
- 2x washer: 9410310700 (WASHER,PLAIN,10MM).
- 1x spring washer: 90551SE0000 (WASHER 24X18,SPG).
- 2x collars: 50503MA1000 (COLLAR,MAIN STAND).
- The stand, I got mine from ebay with the dual spring included.
I got all these part numbers from the best Honda parts store: CMSNL
Parts are numbers 4, 9, 14 and 15 in picture.
Install

Add collars, washers and spring washers to the stand as shown in the picture. Add some grease between collar and stand.

Position stand to holes located underside of the bike. It helps to first insert the non springy side, then compressing the spring and collar and slide the stand over the other hole.

Insert bolts and tighten using the ratcheting spanner. It also helps to ziptie the stand to exhaust etc. so it doesn’t flop around.
Install done! Enjoy your easy way to lube and change chain.
